It was in 1976 that I had the idea to
get a dog and thought a collie would be fine. So one day I drove
to a nearby kennel to look for a puppy and there it was, the puppy,
the beautiful puppy I wanted. They told me that the little furry
thing was an Old English Sheepdog, a new arrival from Britain
– one I had never heard of before. That is how I got my
first OES, Maggie.
Of course one dog is fine but two are much
more fun. Shortly after Georgie joined home and I started showing
both. The first litter was born in 1981. More and more grey and
white doggies shared my life. Dog shows are a wonderful opportunity
to visit foreign countries, meet people and make good friends.
Nowadays our kennel is located in the heart
of Brittany, close to the woods of King Arthur and Merlin. We
continue to breed good-natured and beautiful OES, which, we hope,
bring a lot of joy and fun to their new homes. |
